  How do I send the GiftMate voucher?
Simply click on “Send a voucher” link, fill in the relevant details, pay via Credit card/Net Banking and the voucher will be smsed instantly to the recipient’s mobile phone

  What are the charges that I have to pay to avail this convenient gifting service?
Absolutely nothing. We do not charge you for our services. The amount you choose to gift is converted into Indian rupees and smsed to your loved ones in India.

  How do I check my GiftMate balance?
As mentioned on the website, this service is currently enabled only for recipients in India only.

  What is the purchase limit of a transaction?
The maximum you can spend is the available value of your GiftMate voucher. Remember, the value of your purchase cannot be more than your GiftMate balance.

  What is the validity period of the GiftMate mobile gift voucher?
Each voucher has a separate validity period which will be indicated when you receive the voucher via SMS and email. You can always check the validity online through “My GiftMate Account” on www.giftmate.co.in

  The voucher is worth $ 100 but my sister wants to buy something of a higher value. What should I do?
She can top up the voucher amount by any value and then buy the product of her choice. She has to simple visit www.giftmate.co.in and click on “Top up your voucher”

  I cannot see GiftMate as a payment option on the merchant’s page?
Look for PayMate( Pay by Mobile) option on the website.

  What happens if I lose my mobile?
On activating your voucher by using a 6 digit voucher number, you will be provided a 4 digit PIN by PayMate, which is like any Bank ATM PIN. You having the 4 digit PIN means that your voucher is already activated and you can start using that 4 digit PIN to shop online at our 3000 online merchants.

  What if I forget my PIN?
Firstly, we recommend that the moment you get your PIN you change it to something you can easily remember. If you still manage to forget your PIN then contact customer service on

  How do I check my GiftMate balance?

  How long is my GiftMate voucher valid?

  Are there any limits for each GiftMate account?
While we intend to give you complete freedom of transacting, limits could be placed occasionally for your own account safety. If a limit is placed on your account please contact us for details.

  Do I have to provide any documents to GiftMate?
In a normal situation no documentation is required whatsoever. However for your own account security, only in some exceptional cases we may request you to provide documents for verification purposes.

  I have a 4 digit PIN, but when I go to the homepage www.giftmate.co.in and try to activate the voucher, it asks for a 6 digit Voucher Number. What should I do?

  My voucher is worth Rs. 250 but I want to buy something of a higher value. What should I do?
You can top up your voucher amount by any value and then buy the product of your choice. To do this, simply click on “Send a GiftMate Voucher” and send a voucher to your self. Here, the sender’s mobile number and the recipient’s mobile number shall be the same. You pay for the voucher via your Credit/Debit card and the said amount is topped up onto your existing GiftMate voucher.

  I cannot see GiftMate as a payment option on the merchant’s page?
Look for PayMate( Pay by Mobile) option on the website.

  I am not satisfied with the product/defective product, which I bought with GiftMate. What do I do?
The product quality and delivery are the prerogatives of the merchant (website) through whom you have bought the said product. Please get in touch with their representatives to resolve the problem. However, in case this does not work, you can write to us on with the relevant details. We will try to facilitate a speedy solution to your query/complaint
